A three arch packhorse bridge dating from the 14th century. It is a scheduled Ancient Monument.
West Rasen, Market Rasen, LN8 3JW
A fine three arched bridge over the river Rase standing high over the water. 13 m. long it has a cobbled roadway less than 2 m. wide and high stone parapet walls.
Some opinions credit Bishop Dalderby with its construction, while others believe it was built to cope with the increasing wool trade after the black death.
At the eastern end of the village of West Rasen, on a right-angle bend of the A 631, a track leads northward through a farmyard and onto the bridge.
