About 395 King Street, Aberdeen

King Street Militia Barracks erected in 1863 for the Royal Aberdeenshire Highlanders, who In 1882 became the 3rd Battalion of the Gordon Highlanders. Bought 1914 by Aberdeen Corpo-ration Tramways, whose successor was Grampian Regional Transport
Served as global headquarters of FirstGroup from 1995. On 21 June 2007 First gained per-mission to redevelop the site into a new Aberdeen bus depot and global FirstGroup head-quarters building. It was officially opened by Anne, Princess Royal on 15 July 2010.
