A visit with a difference has been arranged for members and guests to the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke, which as well as displaying vehicles in a period setting, also features street scenes with various artefacts which will stir a few memories, as can be seen on this link:- https://www.milestonesmuseum.org.uk/
We will meet at the site which is located at Leisure Park, Churchill Way West, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22 6PG. If you’re driving, please enter the Leisure Park at Entrance B and follow the signs to the Museum, where there is ample free parking available. For those using public transport, buses 6 and 8 serve the Museum and can be boarded at Basingstoke Railway Station, full details of which can be found on the Museum’s website.
The Museum caters for physically disabled visitors and free wheelchair hire is available but it’s best to book them in advance.
