A visit to another attraction with a difference has been arranged for members and guests, this time to the Hollycombe Working Steam Museum at Liphook in Hampshire. It boasts the largest traditional fairground in Britain, together with steam railways, steam machinery of various kinds, a farm and listed woodland gardens, so there’s something for all the family to enjoy, particularly as it’s during the school holidays.. You can find further details from the Hollycombe web site by clicking here.

We will meet at the site which is located on Iron Hill, Midhurst Road, Liphook, Hants.,GU30 7LP probably around 11.30 am and full details will be issued nearer the time. Meanwhile please contact Alan Wallwork by email to register your interest and book your place.

For those driving, it’s easy to find by following the signs on the A3 or by using a Sat Nav.  For those coming by public transport, the nearest railway station is Liphook and a short taxi ride from there will take you to Hollycombe.  There’s also a café on site offering a good range of food and drink at sensible prices.

The cost of this visit is £15.00 for members and £17.00 for non-members and this price covers unlimited rides. Please transfer this amount electronically to the NTT Treasurer, Richard Norton when you book, marking your transfer as Ref: Holly.  The NTT bank details are: sort code: 40-52-40, account no: 00035669 (NB: the new account details).
