Tyseley has been a focus of Great Western Railway main-line steam since 1908 and, having transferred into the museum / restoration sector fully 50 years ago, its skills have never been lost.
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September will see one of Tyseley's legendary Open Weekends and our President Judy Lady McAlpine will unveil a RW at 12 noon on the Saturday. She will subsequently commission the newly restored First Class Pullman Car “Eagle". We are advised that visitor parking is by prior arrangement only; rail from Birmingham Moor Street is an alternative.
