The purpose of this visit is to view the manual signal box housed on the site of London Underground’s principal engineering facility. This is due to become redundant in the next 12-18 months once the new central signalling operation is fully implemented.
There is no cost for this visit (except non-members £5 per person) although there may be the opportunity to offer a donation to one of LU’s chosen charities. Travel by public transport is advised as there is no public parking available on-site.
