de Havilland Aircraft Museum - Visit - Thu 12th Sept

de Havilland played an important part in the history of British aircraft manufacturing, notably in the development of the Mosquito combat aircraft during WW2 and the Vampire, which was the first de Havilland jet fighter.  Its factory at Hatfield had a rich heritage of jet airliner pioneer development beginning with the Comet, which went on to become one of the most successful commercial jet airliners and was later

developed into the Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft.

The cost for the museum tour will be £17 per person (£22 for non-members) which includes Museum admission,
the tour itself and light refreshments (Tea/coffee/biscuits). On-site parking is available.
