Music Impresario and steam enthusiast Pete Waterman will be unveiling our latest Red Wheel at Braunston Marina on 29th June 2024, at 10.00 am. This will be part of the Braunston Marina Canal Rally that is taking place over the weekend 20/30 June 2024.
The Red Wheel celebrates the history of Braunston Wharf and will complement the Red Wheel further down the cut that highlights the Braunston Canal Village: both are part of this key hub on the UK canal network. It is planned that the Red Wheel will be placed on the waterside engine workshop facing the canal and the famous Horsley Ironworks Bridge. The workshop was built during WWII – it is suggested by the Women’s Land Army.

NTT members are welcome to attend the event and the unveiling. We will have a number of complimentary car park passes available but once those are gone, they are gone. Car entry is then £20 per car, irrespective of passenger numbers.
The marina address is:Braunston Marina Ltd, The Wharf Braunston Northamptonshire NN11 7JH. Click here for What3words
If you would like to take advantage of one of the car park passes, please email Jerry Swift as soon as possible, or call on 07956 295489.
